Comments:

I have had several of my songs recorded by major artists.
You can look below at the Sergio Mendes album entitled "STILLNES"
I wrote the title song, as well as the single, released in Japan
called "DON'T LET GO"

I also wrote for Richie Havens (from Woodstock) on the
PORTFOLIO album with the single I DON'T NEED NOBODY
and wrote lyrics for many Brazilian composers recording on
A&M RECORDS -- being produced by Sergio Mendes.

You can Google my name & find more info on my career (Paula Stone)...

I also conducted several interviews published by Integral Yoga Magazine.
(find them on Google under the name Ratna Stone)

I'm still tutoring REMEDIAL READING, FRENCH & SPANISH
in my spare time and to enrich my life.
by attending musical concerts of many genres.

Mumford memories:

I remember writing for the magazine published for the AP ENGLISH CLASSES
by students of Miss Lindner. I wrote several poems that were included
as well as a short story.

Also, Mr. Swift was a highly gifted educator andentertainer! His Scottish accent and flair for drama made our classes so much more interesting. I was amazed to find his restaurant review program on PBS in Detroit when I came back here to care for my Mom 10 years ago.

I was in A.P. English at Mumford. I learned an amazing amount about the mechanics of our language. I also studied with MISS LINDNER, from England, who encouraged us to love the classics, including Beowulf. She also published a creative arts journal with stories and poems by her students & I was included in several issues. This experience strengthened my desire to pursue a career as a writer.

I also sang in one of the school plays...Denny & the Pirates ...

Mumford memories are not that vivid because
I was so busy working after school @
MURRY KOBLIN'S ART STUDIO (on Wyoming)
& going to United Hebrew High School & Adat Shalom Sunday School...
that most memories of Mumford were
visiting at the lockers...LOL...it always seemed very loud & hectic.

I loved typing class bec. "Joe" (with his brush-cut) would play Motown music and walk up & down the rows singing along & swinging to Martha & The Vandellas & other hip tunes while
we were typing. He played little 45's on a "record player" on his desk...

At Graduation in June I received the award for the
FASTEST SHORTHAND SPEED OF 160 WORDS PER MINUTE

And that is really FAST@!
I still use shorthand when conducting interviews or taking notes
at classes.

Name, phone number and email address of someone who will know where you are in 10 years:

Sorry to say most of my previous friends are in Shamayim! You can check with Itty Shemtov at The Shul in West Bloomfield or on Facebook!!

Dear Myra,

I think of you all the time. Your kindness to me will always make me grateful that you were such an exceptional friend!

Even when you were sick -- our phone calls always cheered me up. I hope that when I go to the next world, you will be there to welcome me home.

Love,

Paula

Hello Ray
It's Barbara Schuster's friend Paula, wondering how you are holding up during the Pandemic.

Do you have any news?

Warm regards,
Paula PS. My Mother & Grandmother were friends with the Berlin family that had
a Children's Clothing Boutique on Six MileRd. Is Rochelle part of that family?

David was a great friend! When I came back to Michigan to care for my Mom, David helped me with legal details. He was always aware of current events!
