I went to Bagley, Post and Mumford with Sheldon, he was a good and funny guy. You deserve a rose!  RIP

I was just speaking with your very good friend, Gary Alpert, about you. My memories of you are all good and make me smile. You are missed.

Gary Alpert

He has been gone for 8 years-hard to believe. He was a child of Bagley School, Post, Mumford, Wayne and the Chicago College of Optometry where he completed his studies at the Magna Cum Lauda level. He has one daughter, now age 33, who has Shel's good looks. His wife, Rhonda, is still active in the local area.  He did not abuse his health and was just unfortunate to become a cancer victim.  I'm sure he would have loved to attend and participate in our 50th. I'm also sure he would wish us all well and urge us to keep going and going, for as long as we are around. He will always be a part of us. Shel was a cool kid-he drove a Schwinn Corvette and graduated to a beautiful cherry red 63 Chevy Impala when he went to Wayne. The girls loved him as he was a very handsome kid. We will miss him at this gala event but we will always remember him.

Sincerely,

Gary Alpert
