Sorry to hear about Gary's passing. He was a very nice guy and when we would run into one another, over the past who knows how many years, he was always pleasant and kind. May you rest in peace.
He was kind and he was cool. He encouraged people to partner with Bagley School. His mom taught me popular piano. The word "popular" would apply--to Gary having been a well-liked guy (which his mom did not deny). When I would write (to him on the Mumford site), he would reply. With his passing, he leaves behind--many who will keep him in mind. I can see this happening already. Sincerely, Betty
So sad to hear about Gary's passing. He was a fine person and a good friend even tho he and Mike Finn would tease me about my lunches. We were friends since Post and thru Mumford and Wayne State in the Business school and we both worked for Arthur Young as accountants along with Kennie Boyer and Bob Cohen. He was my first friend upon moving to the Post area and was the first friend of mine to get married. He had a multitude of health problems for years and retired at too young of an age. I last saw him last spring at the airport. He had a lot of friends and will be sorely missed
Gary was a cool guy. I knew him from Bagley, Post, Mumford and Wayne State where he was a PHI SIGMA DELTA (Now ZBT) fraternity brother. He did a great job with this website as well. His pain is over.

I just read about Gary's passing. It's very shocking to see your schoolmates leaving us in this world. Rest in peace, Gary

Does anyone know what took him away? I have the vaguest memories of Gary, but it's always sad.

Gary had diabetes and heart problems for many years. He apparently had another heart attack in the last few days. So sad.
