Comments:

After graduating from WSU in 1967, with a degree in Economics, I went into the Air Force. I was on schedule to be Nav-Copilot on F4 jets when I injured my back in Parachute Training. With an early out as a disabled veteran I ultimately went to Law School and spent my career as a lawyer/CPA.
On a personal level I married Peggy Dowd (the daughter of Hampton's Peter Dowd). We have 4 daughters and currently 21 grandchildren, KAH. Twelve years after our wedding we became practicing orthodox Jews with Peg converting at that time.
In 2005 after 37 years of varying degrees of back pain, the injury got to the level that I could no longer work. I therefore retired and moved to Israel. Interestingly, after all the years of seeing doctors in the US with no relief, I found a Dr in Israel who used stem cells for a fusion and I now can function with very little pain.
Life now is fulfilling but simple. I study religion most of the day. As a hobby I feed my craving as a political junkie. Geography update: My daughter who lived in Oak Park has moved to New Jersey as her husband took a position with Yeshiva University. Thus, the US tours give more frequent flyer miles. My daughter in Yerushalayim found out that city is too expensive for people with their income. She and her husband and their 9 children had moved in with us, sharing a 2100 sq ft apartment. Unfortunately after 17 years in Israel my daughter and family decided to move back to Oak Park. The quiet here is now deafening. So after 8 exciting years in Israel we too are moving back, opting to be with family. Our move back was met with difficult times. My younger brother died the day after we got here, with my mother dying 5 weeks later. The year included the demise of my remaining 2 aunts and the loss of my friend Ed (Serge) Gordon, class of '62.
