Bobbi and I were friends in elementary school, McDowell. She lived on Mendota, directly across the street from the school. I remember sitting on her front porch when we were so young. When the teachers began to exit the building, I said to Bobbi, "Where are they going?" She told me they were going home. I said that I thought they slept in the school building!!!! We both laughted so hard!!! We had so many fun times together. As adults she worked for so many years at Saks in Troy. I would see her there and we always spoke and it was always nice to catch up. I was so sad to read this morning in the Ira Kaufman obituary that she had passed away.
