Marty (ne "Mel the marvel") was one of my closest friends at Mumford. He had a brilliant mind, perhaps too brilliant. We were together almost everyday during our junior and senior year at Mumford, were roommates at Michigan, and took a two month road rrip together during the summer following graduation. Although he was a successful businesman, I have often pondered where that great mind could have taken him. I will always enjoy the memories of our friendship.
