I knew Bonnie since kindergarten and I re-connected with her after looking her up in our forty year high school reunion souvenir book.  She was affable and kindly and an engaging conversationalist.  Bonnie was committed to her Christian faith and her newspaper obituary emphasized that in a touching way.

I remember going to her house when we were young and watching and listening to her play her organ.  I remember her fun family.  Often, the highlight of my day when we were in high school was walking home from school with Bonnie.  After we re-connected eight years ago, we would contact each other at the time of our birthdays, which were one day apart..  One time she sent me one of her whimsical original poems, which I saved and which I cherish.
