In 4th grade, Donald Kozloff wrote me a love letter. I was flattered but my heart belonged to Gary Levitt. I gave Donald the brush yet remember him continuing to flirt. Donald was a curly-haired, dark blonde kid who I remember as mischievous and just wanting to have fun in school. His cohort was Bobby Spoon. My Dad used to mention that the Kozloff family was in the fish business (Dad worked for Salesnek Fisheries so we talked fish a lot at home.)
I am sorry Donald is gone. I hope he was satisfied with his life and that he died in peace.
Donnie Kozloff was truly one of a kind!!! He was funny and sweet with a great sense of humor. We were very, very good friends and I cherish every moment that we spent together. He was gone too soon, but he is certainly not forgotten...he will always have a special place in my heart.
